the first ski-lift was ever dreamed of.

GOLF
Whistler is fast becoming one of the golf meccas of
the world. With seven course in the Whistler valley
and three in Whistler itself, it is perfect for both
the avid and the occasional golfer. Golf Digest Magazine
recently voted Whistler one of the ‘Top 20 Golf
Destinations in the World’. Fred Couples was recently
quoted in a Sports Illustrated article as saying “Whistler
– the greatest place I’ve been to play golf”.
WHISTLER GOLF CLUB
Chosen by Arnold Palmer as the site for his first Canadian
design, the Whistler Golf Club is where golf and Whistler
first came together. A recent major renovation has restored
this 18-hole, par-72, 6676-yard course to its original
splendour. Overlooking both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains,
it features nine lakes, two winding creeks and rolling
greens.
CHATEAU WHISTLER GOLF
CLUB
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., this course has
become internationally recognised as ‘Mountain
golf at its finest. With an elevation gain of more than
400 feet, the course traverses mountain ledges, crosses
rushing streams and has spectacular views of both mountains.
Chateau Whistler Golf Club is a member of ‘Great
Golf Resorts of the World’ and has also been awarded
the coveted ‘Gold Medal Award’ by GOLF Magazine.
Conde Nast Traveler rated it the 13th best Golf Resort
in North America, Caribbean and Mexico and recently
SCOREGolf Magazine rated it as the ‘Best Resort
Course in Canada’.
NICKLAUS NORTH GOLF CLUB
Minutes from the bustling centre of Whistler village,
this Jack Nicklaus “Signature Design” is
built to the highest specifications using the latest
in golf course construction technology. Nicklaus North
is the only golf course in the world to which Jack has
given his name, and was selected by Golf Digest Magazine
as ‘Canada’s Best New Golf Course’.
