SKI SCHOOL
The Whistler-Blackcomb Ski School is one of the world
leaders in teaching skiing with an astonishing breadth
of teaching programmes, both private and group lessons.
For kids: Adventure Camp (skiing or boarding)
is divided into 3 groups: 3-4 years, 5-6 years and 7-12
years. It offers 2 or 5 day programmes with the same instructor
and each age group has 6 ability levels, so your kids
are sure to be with kids both of the same age and the
same ability. Daily classes are also offered.
For those too small to ski (less than 3 years) but who
still want to have fun the Infant and Toddler Care programme
offers a full day of activities in a fully licensed centre.
For teenagers: Ride Tribe is the program
for teenagers (13-17 years). Ride Tribe offers separate
programs for skiers and boarders, and also has 6 ability
levels, ensuring again that teens will be in a compatible
group.
For advanced and expert levels there are also Salomon
Freeride Camps available on selected dates, during which
some of the world’s top pros will be available to
coach your teen. For adults: Adults have a wealth of different
programmes to choose from, including Private Lessons,
Super Groups (max of 3 per class), Learn to Ski (for total
beginners), Rossignol Daily Improvement Workshops, Ski
Esprit and Ride Esprit (including demo skis and video
analysis), Women on the Edge (2 day session for women
only), Atomic Dave Murray Ski Camps (gate training and
all-mountain skiing), Gatebusters (pure race training),
Extremely Canadian Freeskiing Clinics (for off-piste in
Whistler’s most challenging terrain), Telemark Clinic
and Backcountry Tours.
