The slate floors in the entryway are surrounded by custom-carved wood panelling. Throughout the property there is a visual feast of uniquely designed wooden furniture and luxurious decor created in a distinctive luxury/rustic Canadian idiom, offset with antiques and native First Nations artwork.
However, do not mistake rustic for backward. This home is also brimming with audio-visual technology. A 61 inch TV in the living room and a second TV in the master bedroom each have state of the art Dolby digital 5.1 surround sound, THX and Bose speakers. A custom-built computer desk is fully equipped with computer, flatbed scanner and printer.
There are far-reaching views from the living room through the 45-degree angle windows of the mountains and Village Square below.
On the main floor there is a an entry foyer with custom built wooden bench for taking off boots and shoes. Upstairs is a second master bedroom suite also with Northwest Rustic queen-sized bed, an armoire with TV/VCR, and an ensuite bathroom which also has a stacking washer/dryer. The upstairs also features a spacious loft with queen sofa bed, driftwood railings, twig chairs a weathered birch ceiling fan and many antiques.
