Northern Lights is an exclusive development just above Whistler Village of large townhomes with great views.
Unit 16 is one of the largest properties in Northern Lights, its design taking advantage of its location on a curve in the road to offer an exceptionally spacious living area.
This home would be an excellent Whistler vacation rental option for 2-3 families and 10-12 guests seeking a spacious property within a short walk of the Village. It also offers ski-in, ski-out via a series of steps and a short hike through the woods. (Please note that this option requires significant exertion but is good if you like to warm up the muscles before skiing...)
You enter into a spacious hallway with Mexican tiles, a private two car-garage on the right and the master bedroom suite to one side. Brick-tiled stairs lead down to an exceptionally spacious living area with views over the village and the valley (see photograph). The sitting area offers a selection of sofas and armchairs around a oversized brick wood-burning fireplace. To one side there is a very large dining table which will seat 10+ people in comfort; next to the dining table is a door onto a large deck with BBQ. The kitchen is fully-equipped and has a sit-up bar if you want to nurse your cocktail whilst chatting to the chef.
This level also features a bedroom with large brick wood-burning fireplace and a full bathroom.
Stairs down lead to the den are which has a sofabed and TV. Off this room is a second deck with large private hot tub. The lower level also contains 2 further bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and one with two sets of twin bunks (sleeps 4). This level also has another bathroom and a luxurious steam room.
The decor in this home has a South West US/pueblo theme, with terracotta walls, warm colours and Mexican/Indian artefacts.
Parking is available for 2 cars in the private double garage and for another 2 cars on the driveway in front of the garage.
