Northern Lights is an upscale residential area just above the village and behind the Westin Resort and Spa. It offers easy walking distance to the village (7-8 minutes) and access to the slopes via a series of flights of steps and a hike through the woods (pleasant, but only the fit...). You can also walk down to the lifts from here or grab a cab if you can't spare the time on a powder day.
Northern Lights 41 is on the preferred lower side of the development with fabulous views and high ceilings with floor to ceiling windows in the great room. Entry is on the top level, where there is an entryway, a private double garage and also the master bedroom suite.
Stairs lead down from here to the main living area, with the kitchen to one side and the seating and dining area overlooking the deck and the great view on the other. Sofas for for 6-8 people are clustered around the fireplace and the dining table will seat 8-10. This floor also features a queen bedroom with its own gas fireplace and the second bathroom.
Stairs lead down again to the very large den, with large screen TV and plentiful seating, and then to the lower level, which has 2 additional bedrooms and a further bathroom.
This home is a perfect Whistler vacation rental for a larger group looking for comfortable, spacious accommodation within walking distance of the Village and the slopes.
